Tom from Hayfisher is seen here filming open heart surgery (mitral valve replacement) for Glenn Tayler of GTV Productions Ltd and his client St Jude Medical at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth. Tom is using a Polecam configured with a single section of carbon fibre, the elbow joint and a further half section of carbon fibre. A 3:1 miniature zoom lens with a right angle adaptor out of the back of the camera to give the head more movement within the sterile drape.
