This year's Cinegear Expo was held on the famous 'New York Street' on the backlot at Paramount Studios in Hollywood CA. More than 120 exhibitors participated and Polecam was there showing off the new Starter Pack system with a Canon DSLR camera mounted at the working end. In addition to the Starter Pack the booth featured a Full Rig sporting a 3D head with 2 Toshiba IK-HD1s and the popular Polecam Stadiumcam - a 170 degree field-of-view single piece camera that can be mounted anywhere you can stick a pack of cigarettes. The gathered cinematographers and camera operators were taken with the new Wide Head and it's 8lb (4kilo) payload capacity - the most popular question hands down was: "Can you put an Red Epic on it?", to which the answer is - we think so - if we could get our hands on one to try it out. Following on from the successful launch of Polecam Starter Pack at NAB in April the versatile and highly cost effective rig aimed at D-SLR users was in action again at CineGear in Los Angeles.
